Not to complain but I barely have time to read magazines nor watch TV but when I came across this iPad 2, I asked myself - do I have time for this?
My heart is saying yes but my brain says no. If I could share it with Ashton then good but right now all he knows of doing is to bang his palm on gadgets. Steve wouldn't like it.
Joni and Anya got one and they say it is superb. Joni gets to check constellations with it and has downloaded $5 apps since. An iPad 2 almost costs the same as a round fare ticket to Melbourne ack. And what if they release an iPad 3, are iPad owners already crying?
Thing with Apple is they always have an upgrade and fast. Anything I would have bought would have diminished value once the new version is out. Have you taken the iPad 2 self-test and did yourself prescribe a purchase yet?

Technology: Tweet, FB, Play, and sometimes Work with Fujitsu MeeGo | Lifebook MH330
Who has heard of MeeGo? Not me because I am not a tech geek. But of course, during the launch of Fujitsu Meego I learnt it was an OS simular to Linux. Meego is open source which meant lower memory consumption unlike Windows 7.

I've experienced Linux based computing through my desperate Asus Eee PC and when I heard that Fujitsu's sleek chic Lifebook MH330 was running on Meego - I am a skeptic. It was love at first sight when I saw the Lifebook's bloody red exterior, all shiny with the Fujitsu logo bling. But my Linux past is coming to surface, all those coding and terminal access. Not to forget, hours of research just to try to install a new device. (Linux programmers, don't kill me - I am just a normal girl without programming know-how.)

Wish you were mine, Fujitsu Lifebook MH330
After all the explanations I just had to try Fujitsu's first MeeGo based netbook. It didn't take more than 10 seconds to boot up and all at once, the Myzone panel offered a quick snapshot of the user’s personal activity and shows instant updates about the happenings in the social media sphere. Popular social network tools, such as twitter and Facebook are readily accessible.
One more babaw (shallow) thing I like about it is it's photobooth and video app that is perfect for blogging and vlogging. You have to take note, the MeeGo netbook is not meant for fulltime computing as in doing actual work with it. To put it simply, it is a secondary computing device if you've got a laptop or a desktop first hand. MeeGo is in between your work computer and your mobile device :)

Asked about the retail price, Fujitsu is hoping for an SRP of not greater than Php 20,000 once it is released here in Manila.

For more prices on the latest laptops including Fujitsu, visit my friends' site http://cgena.com. Here with Chique and Anthony from Cge Na.
Dear Santa, I want a red netbook! *wink*

"The LifeBook MH330 Mini-Notebook is specially created to meet those users who are constantly on the move. By making this exceptionally slim and light, this Mini-Notebook makes it very easy to have a constant travelling companion. At its current size, thinness and weight, you won’t even know that it’s in your bag" - Mr. Edmund Lim, Product Manager, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific

Technology: Blueooth Makes HiSense in Fashion
Hand us anything that can make our lives easiER and we'd buy it! Nowadays everyone has their hands full, literally and figuratively. Most especially busy ladies who want to be 24 hour superwomen. I even think that busy is the latest accessory, don't you think?

Ehud Shchori, Director of Hisense International Mobile Accessories Division shows off his cool devices
So here is something both fashion and functional to help you juggle appointments, running successive errands, and multi-tasking. Note: this will even help you make even more money and run an empire (think Kimora Lee Simmons, Paris Hilton - you get the drift).

HB200S Slim Headset looks chic and is available in many colors.
Hisense, a global brand recognized for its multimedia and telco solutions has launched a new line of Bluetooth mobile accessories in Manila. It ranges from bluetooth headsets, stereo bluetooth headsets, and even solar powered hands-free car kits.

Model wearing the HB420S Sport. Sweat proof and light weight, this is my Bluetooth Hisense wish!
Right now I am taking advantage of my HB200M Mini Headset (in black) which lets me connect with two different mobile phones. It can also be connected to the notebook yet I have to upgrade and buy a laptop which actually has bluetooth capabilities.
Total cost is Php 1,900 ++ but comes with different sizes of ear plugs, a lanyard, and a magnetic clip for easy access to your device. I've only been using it for a week and so far, I have no problems connecting it with my N95.

For online slaves like I am, I would recommend the HB440H Hi-Fi stereo which can allow you to take calls, listen to music, enjoy video streaming, and all that. Why didn't I even get this one? I'm guessing it is a bit more pricey than the mini and I won't go out wearing this to take calls during client meetings.
Now you know there is a different type of Hisense Bluetooth device (or call it accessory if you like) for every time and place :)

Style Scene: Globe GCASH launches ATM Card
(L-R) Rizza, Don, Richie, Paolo, and Joanne - all from GXI showing off the latest ATM Card to flash in town
At Conti's Greenbelt 2, a new breed of ATM cards was launched by the creative minds behind Globe. GCASH ATM Cards can be styled anyway you like, it can have a photo of you, your favorite pair of shoes, or even your favorite chihuahua.

From the right, Charo of Globe and friends

Coy and Menchie

Here's me trying to decide which photo to choose
You actually have two opportunities to put two pictures on, front and back of your GCASH ATM card. I had my son's photo in front and one 1x1 photo of myself at the back. I could be more creative but I think I want my family picture anywhere I go, hence the GCASH ATM.
I wrote about how to apply for a GCASH ATM Card online here.

Media from the finance and business sectors getting excited to ask questions

I met Jun, a financial writer and we talked so much about money

Bloggers Lalaine, Coy, and Azrael
Now stop reading and try to get your own GCASH ATM card, just click on this image below:

I can't wait for my GCASH ATM card to be delivered! I actually want to apply for two so I have more personalized ATM cards.

Celebrities: Chikka with Dimples Romana and Melissa Ricks
When Dimples Romana is not busy antagonizing Agua Bendita, and Melissa Ricks is not busy defending her love life guess what they get their hands on?

Celebs on webcam and Chikka!
Dimples and Mel told me they like using the new version of Chikka because it lets them I.M. for free. Who knew even celebs like free stuff? They use it to keep in touch with their family and friends. Melissa Ricks says she stays at home during her free time and just loves to sit in front of her laptop - just like most of us.
The two Chikka endorsers also shared how they use the Internet to find out the latest fashion trends. While they're at it, they can easily use Chikka to send SMS from their computers.

The super cute interface of the new Chikka
According to Dennis Mendiola, "Chikka is more relevant than ever. We observe for example that a lot of casual messaging previously exchanged via text has shifted to the social networks. Our latest version is being released, combining the cool convenience of sending an IM message when one is on-line with the personal warmth, immediacy even urgency of receiving a message as text, instantly read on ones phone.”

Chikka Founder and Chief Imagination Officer, Dennis Mendiola and Chikka Chief Executive Officer, Chito Bustamante.
Promoting even higher utility for the community, the new Chikka version features P1.00 replies during off-peak hours when a lot of Global Filipinos are driving message traffic to friends and loved ones mobiles in the Philippines. Unlimited text packages akin to popular UNLI packages being offered by Philippine telcos are also now available all day.
It is also interoperable with Google Talk while Chikka is working on partnering with other instant messaging applications to make it easier for users to keep in touch.

Now Melissa Ricks can text me for free. Chikka!

This is not a normal phonebooth - Globe's Webphone at Trinoma
I was walking at Trinoma and noticed this new phonebooth webphone.

That screen just screams hightech, I wanted to try but was in a super hurry. Anyway, this booth allows you to surf the Internet, text, call, record a video, etc.
Globe deployed its first Web payphone at TriNoma in Quezon City as it is currently testing this service for the local market. But I hope to see lots of these e-stops soon! According to my friend from Globe, soon these E-Stops would allow bills payments and other services :)

Modu and The City : First Look and Review of the Modu Phone
![[modu+phone+globe+(18).jpg]](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL02tn_IpEGSlFQ27EIFID29xHVGPXKk3-W4DGfp-wu2UhvuyZjpMqGGScTWJAcyYUOtJQK37kQl4WZJWd2VshVtsttrM8_G9mcGwuRs7vpAA-U2mG297ShIA6MdhIb1kJkknwOihQ6qAS/s1600/modu+phone+globe+(18).jpg)
Whitney Port of The City is in my Modu!
The Modu phone was just launched by Globe and now it's time to unwrap and unbox it!

Modu Terminal - can be fitted to any jacket depending on your trip
The Modu phone box comes with the charger, usb cable, and headphones. The USB Cable can be used to charge your Modu while you are using your laptop or computer and to transfer files such as music, photos, and videos to the Modu. The Modu phone is easily detected as a USB device, much like a USB stick.

Modu Folders - drag and drop your media files here
One of the best first things to do with a Modu is to connect it to your computer and load it with your media files. Just so you have more interesting stuff to show when people get curious about your tiny phone. The Modu comes with a PC suite but I find it unnecessary to install, especially when it requires a Microsoft .Net Framework. Again, simply have your Modu detected as a USB device and just drag media items onto the folders.

Modu phone in mini silver jacket loaded with music, photos, and videos
You can transfer media files with or without a Modu Jacket. When you buy your Modu Phone exclusively from Globe, you automatically get a free Modu Jacket. Without a jacket, your modu terminal can only make calls.

I had a little trouble figuring out how to insert my Globe Tattoo SIM. Use your fingernails or any pointed objects to lift and pull the rubber flap. Aside from that, everything went well.
Modu Teaser Advertisement: Must See!
Watch the video above to understand how your Modu phone can transform into more high technology gadgets that will change your lifestyle. With more jackets you can optimize the Modu phone like how it was destined to be by its creators. Grab your Modu phone now for only Php 7,999 with a free Tattoo Prepaid Kit exclusively from Globe :)
