Tweetie de Leon's Beauty Secret (read my interview with our local version of Heidi Klum!)

Tweetie de Leon has been in the hotel for more than 8 hours. I just arrived yet Tweetie looked like she just woke up from a beauty rest. Yet I had no choice but be seated between two supermodel goddesses, Tweetie and Pond's Ambassador, Rissa Mananquil. Both look amazingly fresh and bright, it is hard to believe they are just humans telling me to start my dinner. Eating was my last agenda though. I have been itching to ask the Pond's Gold Radiance endorser if she really does use the product.

The mother of four told me her Pond's Gold Radiance morning and evening beauty routine in detail. She loves the facial foam which she says is a powerful cleanser that effectively removes traces of makeup. Followed by the day cream and the anti-aging serum.

Tweetie shares how she has been using Pond's cold cream as well to remove makeup especially after photo shoots and fashion shows. Asked if she felt any difference since she used Pond's Gold Radiance, Tweetie says her face became less bumpy and fine lines were diminished. I asked the supermodel if she ever had skin problems and she said Yes! I experienced acne in my 30's. More than a pretty face (and Tweetie agrees that beauty is an investment!), our local version of Heidi Klum is also a jewelry designer. Sometimes, she also wish there are more hours than just 24 in a day but she loves her work and the many roles she play.



Asked about botox (yup I had the courage to ask), Tweetie rather age gracefully and naturally yet she has nothing against cosmetic procedures. That also gives us hope that with Pond's Gold Radiance, we won't need botox in the future.

We joked on how we should use Pond's Gold Radiance serum on our legs because it had a wonderful effect on facial skin. If I had a liter of this serum, I would do so! Do you want to try Pond's Gold Radiance?

Style Star: Maja Salvador at the miadidas Launch

Inside the adidas store in Greenbelt 3, we met actress Maja Salvador during the miadidas launch. She was there tinkering with a computer, designing her own pair of adidas rubbershoes. That's what miadidas is all about, customization. And like other celebs such as Karylle and basketball players, you too can make your pair of adidas uniquely yours.



Of course, I just had to ask Maja some questions about beauty, fashion, and her new short hair :)

You can now catch her in a new TV series called Impostor. I like Maja, she's friendly and always smiling. It's just a breeze talking to her.

Meeting V Factory's Jared and Nick

So the Then and Now Massive Music Festival 2010 is happening tomorrow at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, and last night was one of those lucky days for me because I got to meet Jared and Nick of V Factory! :)

Both guys are techie, handling their own social networks like Twitter and Facebook. And thank God they know what bloggers are.


Myrus Ramirez (left) was also there, an upcoming pop R&B singer. He will be the front act for tomorrow's music fest.

Jojo was suppose to meet us too but after spotting her dining at Sofitel's Spiral, we learned that she was super exhausted and opted to rest for the concert tomorrow.



The two guys were extremely nice and handsome that I couldn't do anything but just record what transpired during a short Q&A session with them. (Looks like my husband stole my video credit and put his name on it! oh well x.x)

Style Scene: Greenwich Fast Casual Store opens in Robinsons Galleria

Greenwich fast-casual dining stores are opening just about anywhere and this week, a new Greenwich store opened at Robinson's Galleria. Greenwich endorser John Lloyd Cruz gets to be the first to slice the giant Greenwich Pizza.

The blessing of the new Greenwich store was packed with guests, media, celebrities, and throngs of John Lloyd fans. During the store opening, every guest enjoyed the best tasting lasagna of Greenwich, Overloaded pizzas, baked beef rice, and surprising new desserts. Greenwich now serves Brazo de Mercedes which was all the buzz during the event. Around 5 persons asked me if Greenwich serves them, yes they do! :)

John Lloyd on the other hand shares his mysterious favorite item in Greenwich and his new fitness regimen. Style and Relax tried to ask him about his style but surprisingly, John Lloyd says he puts comfort before fashion. When asked where he gets his clothes, he said "secret".

Michael Jackson is King of Style

Like how fashionistas do, all over the world - MJ loves black and white! Style and Relax reviews MJ's fashion and gets fashion inspiration from the late King of Pop. This will make you think if Michael Jackson started out all the trends we have now.



1. Black and White - crisp white shirt with a black jacket always does the job for Michael Jackson. Black and white is also the title of one of his best looking music videos. Surely, MJ knew how classic colors work it!



2. Fedora Hats - are always present for that mysterious Thriller look



3. The Military Jacket - hands down, it was Michael Jackson who donned them first.

4. Gloves - that are now being sold in Multiply like hotcakes! Gloves are great now for night outs, but no one will ever wear them like MJ.



But, the style I am dying to try is the least that people notice with MJ. Black shoes and white socks that peep through black pants. I like!

Time to write about some fashion inspiration. I've always been fond of the Japanese Kimono - it radiates femininity, sensuality, smoothness, and silky movements. I was watching a special on the House of Natori at Lifestyle Network once, and began Googling about Japanese inspired dresses once again. I attempted to unearth my sister's Japanese Kimono costume and wear it with black skinny pants but the costume is somehow lost.

And Yumi Komagata, Shishio's wife in Rurouni Kenshin - whose Kimono I've always wanted and admired



Finally, a preview of my latest shopping find that is inspired by this fascination. I cannot wait to wear it and turn Japanese :)

Star Style: Nina Jose

Nina Jose is the latest addition to the cast of Lipgloss, the teen series aired by TV5 inspired by Gossip Girl. She first appeared as a house mate in Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition and has tastefully graced covers of Men's magazines. At the TV5 party at Red Box, Nina Jose shared with Style and Relax her "inner beauty " secret and how she maintains her goddess-like body.

Nina's favorite style icon is Audrey Hepburn, indeed if you see Nina in person - she is a very classy lady with a warm personality. She walks like a beauty queen and it's almost like a divine apparition when she walks in a room.
