Experience Shopping at Harbour City, HK

If you are a first-timer in Hongkong, you'll need all the info you can get to maximize and enjoy your trip to the last minute. This way, you can relax and shop even if you have limited time. The first destination you can take your feet and purse to is Harbour City. I initially thought that Harbour City is an area in Hongkong but Harbour City is a super humongous shopping mall.

Harbour City is home to must-visit almost monumental luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and more. City Super, a lifestyle specialty store is also tucked inside Harbour City.

In City Super, I spotted stationeries, boots, bags, toys, make up, gadgets and food - all of which have interesting style and are not the usual type. City Super is a must-visit during your Hongkong trip. Most buy their pasalubongs here like the luxurious melt in your mouth Royce' chocolates.

Godiva Chocolates at Harbour City

Harbour City also houses Godiva, the chocolate of the stars. If you are not sure where to eat and have limited budget, Harbour City has a food court area for fast and affordable service. After all, shopping is always the priority when one is in Hongkong. You can munch for around HKD 35-60.

Release Tension and Stress with Yoga

When you need a quick fix to get your mind out of something and take a breather, then consider Yoga as your friend. Yoga is something you can start as soon as tomorrow, or as soon as you get to the Video shop. There are Yoga classes in town but you can practice yoga conveniently inside your bedroom minus the hassle. No gadgets are required, only your body and the floor. Read more after the jump.

Yoga literally lets you breathe stress and tension away. Stress, anxiety, fear, and tension hide in certain areas of the body, like the spine and the back of our legs. When you release them through yoga, you will instantly feel lighter and relieved. Like what Yogiraj Allan Finger says, "Unbound, Unlimited, Fluid" - this is what you will feel after every session. For me, this is the highest form of relaxation.

Look for Allan Finger's Yoga Zone series which are available in major video shops. I had a hard time completing my collection but I found some Yoga Zone vcds for as low as 99 pesos each. They are also available online but be sure to get the beginner's series.

Holiday School Girl

The black boots I used to wear to work, this time I can wear them for carefree fun. School girl skirt is a gift from Old Navy. I styled the white Lacoste polo shirt with pearls and folded the sleeves to make them puff a little. I had to be careful not to look like a cosplayer so I played it down a little :)

You can also get this stuffed golden dough balls which are not only delicious but would definitely add style to your holiday table. Most would never have tasted or experienced this treat, it's soft but the thin outside layers are crunchy. Inside, you'll taste flavors of ube and mung beans which are like the stuffing inside the "buchi". The soft dough also gives a melt in your mouth experience! Your guests would go crazy over them so be sure to get a lot of this.

Christmas Ham and Chicken Machang

Another idea for stylish entertaining is to offer finger food that would go well with your holiday wine or cheese. The Holiday Chicken Machang can be cut into bite sizes and served on a toothpick. You can also do this with Super Bowl's Christmas Ham which is delicious but not overwhelming with sweetness or fat. It does not need additional cooking or seasoning at all.
