Style Star: Maja Salvador at the miadidas Launch

P4197293

Inside the adidas store in Greenbelt 3, we met actress Maja Salvador during the miadidas launch. She was there tinkering with a computer, designing her own pair of adidas rubbershoes. That's what miadidas is all about, customization. And like other celebs such as Karylle and basketball players, you too can make your pair of adidas uniquely yours.

Of course, I just had to ask Maja some questions about beauty, fashion, and her new short hair :)

You can now catch her in a new TV series called Impostor. I like Maja, she's friendly and always smiling. It's just a breeze talking to her.

Get Coached by Adidas miCoach

Have you ever tried running? I have! and everytime I wished someone ran with me so I can be more motivated and run better. Good news to those who run solo because now you can have your own companion and not just any companion, but a professional running coach.

Meet the Adidas miCoach, the coach you can wear ;)

Not only hi-tech, the miCoach would make any runner look like a serious runner with its gears. The MiCoach can also be synced with any mp3 device so it can also play your favorite running music. It would tell you to run faster, slower, or keep your pace depending on your heart rate. Hence, MiCoach users become better runners.

Of course, the MiCoach looks best with your Adidad running outfit.

The complete miCoach Pacer system retails at P6,995 while the miCoach Zone is available at P3,695. Both products are exclusively available at adidas Sports Performance Concept stores Greenbelt, Trinoma, Rockwell, Glorietta, as well as RUNNR Fort Bonifacio.

One Afternoon in Trilogy

Trilogy is the latest concept store that combines fashion, food, and technology. This week, I had the chance to drop by and meet one of the store owners, fashion stylist Rosario Herrera.

With stylist and Trilogy owner, Rosario Herrera

The first thing that caught my eye were the Adidas Originals by Originals items which I have been wanting to see in person, especially the winged Jeremy Scott rubber shoes. I don't know if it's just me but I see more and more people in the street wearing the brand. Even when I was in Australia, I did not get to see these items but they were here at Trilogy.

Within the store are stylish chairs waiting to be occupied by diners of the canteen. They serve gorgeous looking meals, desserts, and our everyday vitamin called coffee. We just had to try this crispy burger with fresh lettuce and tomatoes at Php 150. The burger is different in that it tastes like Tonkatsu complete with the crispy golden breading.

At Trilogy, you can either go in to fill in your fashion addiction and submerge yourself with their unique pieces from all over the world or, simply fill your stomach. The entire store is WiFi enabled so you can browse the net through your mobile like I did, or your old cranky laptop like my companion did.

You can find Trilogy along Rada St. in Legaspi Village, look for 110 Alvion Building.

The biggest Adidas store in the Philippines opened last Wednesday at the Greenbelt 3 Ayala Center. Together with celebrities like Karylle, Iza Calzado, and Angel Aquino were sports stars like Cris Tiu and other basketball players.

Angel Aquino

Highlights of the event includes a fashion show where the mi Adidas Philippine Collection was finally launched. This collection includes the limited edition "National Shoes" that sports the colors of the Philippine Flag - red, white, and yellow. If you have a boyfriend, I'm sure he knows about this Pilipinas Adidas rubber shoes.

Aside from the patriotic rubber shoes, the collection also includes tees and sweatshirts that say I love Manila. cute! The "I love Manila" shirts have the Adidas logo instead of a heart and comes in women's fit and sizes.

After the program, the floor turned into a shopping frenzy as everyone was given the chance to shop in the biggest Adidas store ever! With the wide range of collections including the Originals by Originals and Stella McCartney - ladies and gentlemen alike (including the stars) unleashed their inner shopaholic. The 'I love Manila' tees ran out right away like hot pancakes.

Here is my haul, because nothing beats the classic look:

Thank you Adidas for a spectacular show!

Style Scene: Adidas by Stella McCartney Launch

Last night at the Rockwell Powerplant Mall, shoppers were intrigued at what was happening behind the Adidas shop. Little did they know that inside were models, fashion editors, celebrities, and other important guests preparing for the ultimate unveiling of the Adidas Stella McCartney Collection.

Upon my first look at the pieces, they all seem futuristic and fun while maintaining comfort and style. Some of the pieces are also inspired by lingerie especially the tennis wear for women.

Personal picks from the Stella McCartney inventory at the Adidas Powerplant Mall

Picks from the Adidas Stella McCartney look book - I love the puffy jacket that seems to belong to someone from the future. It reminds me of stylish aliens strutting down from a UFO.

If you don't know it yet, lingerie synergized with clothes are becoming a hot trend on the runways.

Adidas also presented their official endorser for the Stella McCartney collection - Iza Calzado. Congratulations to Adidas Philippines for one successful night, everyone had a great time :)

Adidas Originals by Originals - Jeremy Scott

ObyO or Originals by Originals is Adidas' latest collaboration project with three of the world's most unique street fashion designers. Among the three designer collections, my heart and eyes go to Jeremy Scott.

Known for his outrageous and almost comical approach in fashion, Jeremy Scott also mixed the latest trends in style for Adidas. Look at this shirt dress - fringe fringe fringe! :)

Fun and casual leopard animal print that would make anyone feel like a Pussycat Doll.

And the best of all, Jeremy Scott's Adidas Wings. If you read Greek Mythology, this pair will remind you of Hermes the Olympian god. Good news, the wings are actually detachable!

Suddenly, I feel like running. Don't you? I can't wait to meet these pieces in person. Learn more about Jeremy Scott in the latest issue of Status Magazine! He is on the cover :)
