Krispy Kreme opening day at Filinvest Mall

On Friday night, the Krispy Kreme Hotlight lit up the South as it opened its doors to doughnut hungry customers for the first time at Alabang Festival Mall. It rained Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee to the kids and adults delight.



Of course, me and Ash were present. Our ultimate favorite is the Original Glazed.



Since the store is inside Filinvest Mall, we also had a blast strolling kiddie leisure spots inside. In between doughnut bites :) We promised to come back on a weekend.

Just yesterday, Krispy Kreme Chef Rick from Maryland unveiled KK's Baked Creations that would give new meaning to the word breakfast. Kruffins are American style hand made muffins-with-a-hole filled with rich and delicious fruits, nuts or chocolate with varieties which include Double Chocolate, Apple Streussel, Blueberry and Classic Kruffin.


Behind this question are the baked creation goodies!

Our favorite is the Apple Streussel :)

The Pull Aparts are the North Carolina original hand-rolled balls of dough, pulled apart and laid to form a doughnut like sweet bread, filled with sweet or savory varieties such as Cheese, Bacon & Cheese, Sausage & Cheese and Cinnamon.


Baked Creations - just in!

The combination of meat, cheese, and sausage are a perfect energy booster together with a cup of brewed coffee. I couldn't wait to taste the bacon and sausage variants but they ran out of these pull aparts right away. The cheese pull apart is good though :)

If there is a Krispy Kreme branch close to my heart, it would be the Krispy Kreme in Boni High where the Chocolate Carnival was launched and where we celebrated Krispy Kreme's 72nd birthday.



Krispy Kreme inspires different people in different ways, wherever they are - our favorite Krispy Kreme makes our life more special. Today is Krispy Kreme's 72nd birthday! Our favorite doughnut celebrated its 6 dozen years of fulfilling sweet buds and tummies. The celebration kicked off this afternoon at Krispy Kreme Bonifacio High Street and was attended by KK fans from the blogosphere.

Overflowing doughnuts, coffee, and drinks awaited the guests. It was a rainy celebration which was perfect for a sitdown conversation with acquaintances, while sipping the Krispy Kreme signature brewed coffee.

Krispy Kreme Chocolate Karnival - The Greatest Chocolate Show on Earth!

At the Krispy Kreme Bonifacio Highstreet, kids and kids at heart lined up to experience a spectacular Chocolate Karnival featuring the Chocolate Glazed Donuts! yummy :) It was the perfect family day out with everyone's favorite Krispy Kreme donuts.




Since it was a Karnival, clowns, jugglers, mimes, and friendly stilt walkers were also present. Krispy Kreme sure knows how to create a spectacular chocolate-y event. Each guest had their photos taken while wearing silly donut-sun glasses and had them printed for free at the photo booth. Games like cup stacking, pachinko, Krispy Kreme box stacking, and donut ring toss gave everyone the chance to bring home a dozen of Krispy Kreme Chocolate Glazed donuts and Krispy Kreme gift certificates!



Lunch care of Cibo were also served to guests, which was perfect for the overflowing Krispy Kreme donuts and frappes. Finally, the donut factory was unveiled and the greatest chocolate show on earth began! Donuts lined up and moved towards a fountain of melted chocolate were they were all glazed and tada ~ they are now Chocolate Glazed Donuts :)
