Havin' a Baby - No Fuss Fashion for Preggy Ladies

When I got pregnant, I really wished I had lots of maternity clothes but people advised me that I will only use them for a short time. However, at 7-9 months - it was getting hard to fit into normal clothes. Even loose clothes that are available on the rack. I thought, pregnant women deserve to have special clothes made for them. Something they can wear with lots of comfort and style, that would show to the world how proud they are of their growing bellies :)

Ruffled sleeveless top puts flair on your baby bump

This polka-dot printed piece reminds me of Desperate Housewives fashion :)

And a cute denim dress that snugs on the right places

Just before I gave birth, I visited Havin' A Baby store at the wonderful Greenbelt 5 with some friends. It was just the best maternity store ever, with not just clothes but also maternity accessories like the belly belt, support belt, sexy maternity lingerie, and even diaper bags.

They also have swimwear for preggers. Everything a pregnant lady would like is here, fashion wise. I tried lots of pieces but opted to get 3 dresses. Each piece at Havin' A Baby are designed in their own production factory and can be worn before, during, and after pregnancy.

Sexy chic maternity swimwear

And more stuff for you and your baby

Now you won't feel guilty shopping for maternity clothes because you can wear them pregnant or not. I like the diversity of the pieces, from casual to business to party wear.

Each piece would cost around Php 1,200 and it is not a bad price considering how it fits so well and make any mommy look instantly primped. I enjoyed shopping here too because of the friendly staff that took the time to get a dress my size from Greenbelt 5 to Glorietta! Talk about customer service. And they know how it is difficult for preggers to walk to and from racks that they would just tale care of everything. No wonder celebs like Judy Ann Santos who is also expecting have been spotted here, exiting the store with lots of pieces.

Maternity and Nursing Bras from Debenhams

While shopping in my pregnancy shopping wonderland - Rustan's, I passed by Debenhams and saw these maternity bras. Sad but really, in the department stores I visit - I don't think they have maternity bras for preggers like me.

Finding a comfortable pair of bras is one of the first problems pregnant women face because of their growing bumpers. At Debenhams, the sizes were great and more realistic for pregnant women. I am not sure which brand these are though, I forgot because I was too excited.

Two pieces costs around Php 2,400 not bad with the many designs to choose from and sizes that your boobs can actually fit in :)

11 Weeks at the World Bazaar

[mommy+lace+at+11+weeks.jpg]

Luckily, expecting moms can always squeeze in a dash of style even with a growing tummy :) Wearing a dress from Target's Maternity line, it fits very well and is super comfy with its cottony fabric.

The dress is sleeveless and to prevent it from looking like sleepwear worn outside, I put on a draping cardigan.

More on the World Trade Bazaar later :)

Belly Belt Surprise!

Hi! readers, I am sure you've noticed that updates are getting fewer at StyleandRelax.net. Your dear fashion blogger is 10 weeks preggy :) The first few weeks were really tough and I could barely stare in front of the monitor without getting a banging headache.

Preggy staples: leggings, reliable flat shoes, and a roomy top.

But now everything is reaching its equilibrium, I hope. So let me welcome you to StyleandRelax's preggy edition! :)

Starting off with an interesting invention for all mommies and mommies to be. My sister sent me this Belly Belt from Australia. She had to buy it online, it transforms your regular pants into something that you can still wear when you are carrying your precious one.

It would look like this. Such a great solution for saving your wardrobe while expecting, my only problem is that my pants don't have the standard button sizes. Will have to alter the buttons so that it can accommodate this maternity belly band.

You can get the belly belt online, just search for "belly belt combo" or maybe, ask your relatives abroad for it :)
