Maternity and Nursing Bras from Debenhams

While shopping in my pregnancy shopping wonderland - Rustan's, I passed by Debenhams and saw these maternity bras. Sad but really, in the department stores I visit - I don't think they have maternity bras for preggers like me.

Finding a comfortable pair of bras is one of the first problems pregnant women face because of their growing bumpers. At Debenhams, the sizes were great and more realistic for pregnant women. I am not sure which brand these are though, I forgot because I was too excited.

Two pieces costs around Php 2,400 not bad with the many designs to choose from and sizes that your boobs can actually fit in :)

Bianca Araneta on Beauty and Pregnancy

At the stroller parade that was held at the Megamall Atrium, I got to interview Bianca Araneta-Elizalde who was hosting the event.

Bianca has two children and swears by organic food and beauty products to maintain her youthful glow. According to her, her beauty regimen was very simple especially because she just stayed at home most of the time whenever she is pregnant.

The Boppy Pillow

While researching about items for the baby, I came across the boppy pillow. Mothers swear that it helped them breastfeed their babies comfortably and without much drama from both ends.

The boppy pillow goes around the mommy's belly just below the breasts. Now, baby needs less support when breastfeeding and can comfortably lie down without straining the mother's arms - freeing them to do other things.

It is available online but I just had to check SM after a friend told me it's available in the department store. I found two boppy pillows, one from Uratex and one from Baby & Co. Above is the one from Uratex which costs around Php 1,200 ++. This is still cheaper than those found in Rustan's which is Php 2,000 ++ according to online forums.

However, this one from Uratex does not really go around the back because it has a velcro strap. What's great is the wide area for baby to lie on unlike the usual boppy pillows.

This one is from Baby & Co. which is similar to the boppy pillows I find on the internet. It only costs Php 500. I haven't made my mind up yet which to buy because I still want to see what Rustan's has to offer :) It's just great to know that boppy pillows are available in Manila for all expecting ladies.

Also check out this pillow for your growing tummy, also from Uratex.

Because Havin' a Baby is the New Black

If you are expecting a baby and are having a fashion emergency, check out H.A.B. which stands for a stylish fashion boutique for moms to be - Havin' a Baby & More. In Hollywood, babies are the new black with baby bumps emerging here and there. Having a baby definitely should not equate to loose fitting clothes that look like curtains or table cloths. Baby bumps now mean empowered and ultra-stylish moms to be.

Channel Nicole Richie or even Angelina Jolie with chic finds at H.A.B

H.A.B also goes beyond maternity in the sense that the clothes can be worn by those who are not pregnant but are looking for stylish and fashionable outfits. Personally, I like the length and cut of their tees which are very flattering to any woman - pregnant or not.

It's not too late or too early to enjoy shopping at Havin' a Baby & More, hopefully we'll see each other there next time ;)Visit H.A.B. stores now at Alabang Town Center, Shangri-la Plaza Mall, and Greenbelt 5.
