Tonight, why don't you wind down and pop a piano cd on your player? Playing piano music reminds me of a relaxing, elegant hotel lobbies and exquisite lavish dinners. Music takes you elsewhere and your music style speaks of you just like friends. Tell me your favorite music genre and I'll tell you who you are.
I recommend these Tea Time CDs my mom got from the music bar, they're my favorite. It has 6 volumes, you can fill up all the cd trays of your player for uninterrupted relaxing experience.

I don't know why but this outfit makes me think of a samurai. If you are familiar with the family computer game called "Legend", the samurai there is guided by a butterfly. It inspired me to clip a small butterfly accessory on my hair too. :) Butterfly clips were popular when I was in gradeschool, I only have one left in my drawer and got to use it again.
Watch out for my post on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the movie has given me lots of style inspiration. Kudos to the costume designers.

The harbour was a nice place to shoot, breezy and sunny. I am very elated because of my skirt yesterday. I had fun wearing it and it brought cheerfulness to others as well. Look at the swan brooch I pinned on my belt, reminds me of Swan Lake which my sister and I adore.

Style and Relax is deeply honored to have interviewed young designer Puey Quinones, one of manila's most sought-after and a-list designer. Puey Quinones is also known as the "Rei Kawakubo of the Philippines".
Puey Quinones believes that fashion is universal and that fashion is for everyone. During this interview I was so starstruck, and please forgive all the pauses and stuttering I made in this interview.
Also, Puey Quinones has been featured internationally for turning prisoners into fashion designers. Puey teaches fashion design and dress making weekly inside the prison and helps inmates express their creativity while earning.
Vintage clothing means second hand or coming from a previous decade or era. Like the 1980's where I believe these skirts came from. It's always worth it to check out your mom's closet. My mom and I had fun tonight inside her walk-in closet. I remembered she had these skirts and now they're all mine! I can't wait to wear them :)
I was also surprised to rediscover her brooches. I told her I have one and how I plan to use it to style clothes (you'll learn about them soon). She has all sorts of animal brooches, rabbit, swan, mouse, etc.
Then there were also dresses that can easily be styled to be worn at current fashion but their natural vintage beauty and quality will still shine through.
All these finds remind me how each piece is a timeless work of art.
