Event: Make Your Move! Street Dance Competition

In celebration of the World A.I.D.S. (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) Day on December 1, 2010, a special dance competition dubbed “Make Your Move” will kick off at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Music Hall at 10:00AM on the same day. College students and call center agents can participate in this one-day dance competition with over PHP 175,000 in cash prizes up for grabs.



To join, simply form a group with a minimum of eight (8) members up to a maximum of twelve (12) members to a dance group. Members may be all male, all female, or a combination of both.
All dancers must be bona fide college students or currently employed as call center agents/officers. Groups may simply fill up the registration form, bring valid IDs for verification purposes and a video of the dance choreography.

The dance routine should not be more than 5 minutes and must incorporate “AIDS Awareness” as a theme. All requirements should be submitted to On Ground Activation, Co (see contact details below).



P100,000 awaits the champion while the first runner up gets P50,000 and the second runner up will take home P25,000. Plus, all non-winning dance groups will get a consolation prize of P5,000 each. The group with the most number of contingent/supporters will receive P20,000.
This special event is just one of the many advocates of Frenzy to promote awareness for AIDS. Frenzy believes that disseminating proper information about AIDS is just one of the many ways to stop the spread of this worldwide killer. This special dance competition/event is part of the company’s campaign towards that goal.

Fashion: FREE Pants!

I want to sing, Sponge Bob Free Pants, Sponge Bob Free Pants! I love freebies like that.

I thought people were kidding when they said you actually get free pants from Penshoppe's Style Closet. But after surrendering myself to the stylists yesterday, they put the same skinny jeans I tried in a plastic bag. "Here's your FREE pants!"

Tried and Tested: Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain + Balm

Highschool during my time - we were obsessed with lip and cheek stains that came in tiny tubes. We'd rub it on our cheeks and pretend it was a natural flush so we won't get disciplined. And what's great about stains are their natural look. No one can really tell unless you go overboard.

Every girl was gaga to get a "just bitten" and "just pinched" effect. I don't know how but I'd forgotten this cool trick with lip tints/stains until I bumped into another invention by Revlon.

I got all 3 colors because they work like magic, as if I am naturally endowed with red or pink healthy 'just bitten'lips depending on the color I use. Unlike its predecessors, Revlon's Just Bitten Lip Stain comes in a form of a pen. Just swipe it on your lips and tada! Colour that lasts the whole day.

I use Gothic Red for serious days, and Passion for fun days. Yep.

On the other end of the product is a lip balm which should protect your lips from cracking. The balm is snot shiny nor sticky, which contributes to the just bitten effect.

I am amazed. No more re-applying lipstick for me or that obviously colored lips :) I started using lipstick this month after some consultations with other beauty bloggers. Now I am a convert, a lip colour is a good weapon.



I wonder though if we can use this as cheek tint as well? That's just the thrifty me asking.

New Pinoy Fashion Reality TV Show! Gen M: Generation MEGA, the MEGA Young Designers Competition 2011.

Manny Pacquiao Fight Live via Sky Cable at Ayala Alabang Country Club

Sky Cable is heaven sent! This is my first time to watch Manny Pacquiao Live as in no annoying commercials of poultry feeds and roofing supply. I woke up extra early and headed to Ayala Alabang Country Club, which turned nto one of the largest and exclusive HD (high definition) viewing venue in the metropolis for the Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito World Boxing Council (WBC) Superwelterweight championship fight.

I didn't get any sleep because I was excited and just thought of what to wear.



Took my friend's advice and came in shirt + shorts, until I was handed this Pacquiao Shirt from Alaxan.

Some of my friends got lucky when this retail brand visited their building, with this giant closet in tow. I spied the FB Page and found out it was Penshoppe's.



Did they have the latest items from the Philippine Fashion Week? Only the Style Closet can answer! Yesterday they were at Paseo Center where they styled fashionable workaholics like her:

Walk Through of Mariott Hotel's Buffet at M Cafe

If you are a food monster like me (noted I am getting fat), leave room for the newest buffet spread in town at the Marriott Hotel. Restaurant's name is M Cafe. I was there a few days back for their Guiness World Record-Breaking Thai Dinner Buffet. Tonight, I want to go back. Shall I take you to a salivating tour of their spread, yes?

Cold cuts.

During the Thai Dinner buffet, I had the chance to taste authentic lip smacking spicy thai dishes like curry, pad thai, etc. It was excellent and for Php 1,200 ++ it is worth it.



Japanese. Their prawn tempura is one of the best I ever had. Thin crisp batter but juicy prawns inside. They make it in front of you too, hot and juicy.





Grilled Veggies to go with their roast beef station.



Though I would suggest to the chef, if possible, to make the desserts a bit richer. Pretty please, because I want my cheesecakes really cheesy, heavy, and all of its sinful glory.



Desserts are best friends.

The Thai Dinner is over and M cafe at Marriott Hotel should be serving the usual Filipino, American, and Japanese buffet by now. Since the hotel is new, the buffet is a good excuse to go see the place and tour the entire Resorts World complex.
