Starbucks Cheer Party - Stories are Gifts, Share!

Every year, I know it's Christmas time whenever I get my invitation for the Starbucks Cheer Party. It's always the first Christmas party I attend and last year, they also celebrated on November 3 - same date I found out I was preggers :)

Now like Starbucks, I have more things to be grateful for - including this Starbucks 2011 Planner *evil grin*

And these newly baked holiday ginger based cookies and pastries you can enjoy this yuletide season with your favorite houseblend.

At every Starbucks Cheer Party, patrons and guests are offered unlimited tastes of Starbucks pastries. Among all the things I ate, I highly recommend this:

White Chocolate Berry Cookie

Because these polar bear ginger bread cookies are too cute to eat

I enjoyed taste-testing the pastries with a hot Toffe Nut drink which is only available during Christmas Tree season. It tastes like coffee blended with chocolate bars. It's already sweet so you may want to choose a not-so sugary pastry with this.

Other holiday drinks that are now brewing include: Praline Mocha and Peppermint Mocha

Choose your weapon to deal with this heavenly Almond Roca cake. My sister and I used to fight over bars of Almond Roca, if she was here I'll give her a box of this. A whole cake costs aroun Php 1,100 ++. Give this to your female boss *wink*

Almond Roca Cheesecake

Would you believe this? Cookie dough + Cheesecake!

The Starbucks Cheer Party was even better than last year just because of this:

Wacky photo wall complete with accessories by Pose and Print. Here's me with bloggers Fran and Rowena.

Last year, Azrael won a blue Bearista for the little boy. This year, I won a kiddie tumbler! Perfect as his school jug once he goes to prep. heehee :)

There will be more Starbucks Cheer Party! This was just the first, held at Ayala 6750. I will post the upcoming cheer parties and which branch they will happen here. Stay tuned!

Philippine Fashion Week 2010: Penshoppe Has Arrived!

photo

Penshoppe has arrived! *applause, applause* most brands have reinvented themselves and one brand we all grew up with, Penshoppe - has revealed its new direction with aspiring outfits that say sexy - sophisticated.

From the looks of the runway, the Holiday and Summer Collection of Penshoppe is inspired by travel, and Paris. First elements to walk down the runway are sequined tops, skirts, and sequined shorts which I have seen for the first time. Thank you very much Penshoppe.

Here are some exceptional ensembles from the collection:

Shiny Sequins

Still, Military inspired Overcoats

Flirty and Preppy Skirts

Noted how Penshoppe used scarves as head accessories. I wish I learn how to tie scarves around the head, the right way.

This collection makes me want to pack my luggage and travel. What do you think?

Style Scene: At Fashion Week

Stefan, me, and Mikhael

Mikhael is Toxicdiscoboy now he has a shop called Paradigm Shift, so proud of you! :) I hope to see your creations on the runway soon.

"I am Queen Elizabeth"

I met young Stefan near the registration and he also plans to start a fashion blog soon.

They also have a cool friend in red - Gelo Arucan, He carries a treasure chest in silver. cute!

Last night, just got in time for Penshoppe. Lucky I always spot my blogger friends - Earth who's been living in SMX and Iris who is lovestruck. That's me wishing I was as thin as the mow-dels.

Philippine Fashion Week 2010: At Penshoppe After Party

Turned my flowy gray cardigan into a blouse with unexplainable shape. Pin one end of your cardigan up your shoulder with a pin. Underneath is my 100 peso romper with black stockings :)

Philippine Fashion Week 2010: Oxygen Runway

Photos from the Oxygen Philippine Fashion Week 2010 runway.

Created with flickr slideshow from softsea.

The message is clear - mid drifts are back and flat tummies are in. Goodbye rice! I guess deconstructed style is flowing towards the mainstream now. Yet Oxygen knows how to do it right, some labels might still be playing safe with just twitches of elements from this style such as uneven cuts, over-sized fabric, and sharp layers.

Oxygen also showed the new way to wear their accessories. Made of small links but alas, more stylish and versatile to wear. I like it as sleeves for the sleeveless shoulder. See more about it on the slideshow.

Photos taken by my husband Azrael Coladilla.

Fashion: Parisian Fashion Week

I said I won't go to any Philippine Fashion Week Show this year because of the hectic schedule. But then, a ticket landed on my hands for the SM Department Store's and Parisian Shoes' Fashion Show. I couldn't resist.

Wore this gray outfit. I knew everyone would be dressed to kill but just to be different - chose a simple dress.

Thank you to my sister Liza who took the wacky photo. We were just so giddy about the clothes and shoes :)

I love the department store and almost all my shoes are Parisian.

In fact, here is my newest pair. Tonight was their first day out, and to the Parisian shoes fashion show where their brothers and sisters walked the runway.

I'll come back with the runway report. The fashion show gave me lots of ideas on how to mix and match in house brands of SM Department Store. I die!

The Starbucks 2010 Planner Launch

It's here! Girls and boys go crazy every year stamping their Starbucks cards to redeem the most coveted Starbucks 2010 Planner! This year, the planner is available in 3 stylish designs.

The Starbucks Planner was launched during the Starbucks Christmas Cheer Party at Ayala 6750. Guests and patrons of Starbucks were treated to overflowing coffee and first sips of their signature Christmas drinks. We love the Peppermint Mocha hot :) A great alternative to a creamy cup of their hot chocolate.

More than coffee and frappuccinos, Starbucks has lined up new pastries to welcome the holiday season. Cute ginger bread, layered cakes, and sandwiches lined with Christmas colors. Everyone felt it was already Christmas day!

Starbucks Christmas Bearistas are super cute!

Starbucks also launched their new Christmas themed tumblers, mugs, keychains and decors, even Christmas Bearistas. I got a Halloween Bearista :)

Christmas Barista :)

Visit your favorite Starbucks branch and enjoy the Christmas Cheer for you and your friends, anytime of the day.

Were you here?

Senator Mar Roxas on Inspiration, Health, and Relaxation

Senator Mar Roxas who could just be the next president on 2010, shares with Style and Relax how he winds down after a busy chaotic day at the senate.

Senator Mar Roxas was sleek as expected, not only does he carry himself very well but he even looks better when you listen to his opinions. At dinner, Senator Mar Roxas is admirably grounded that everyone was comfortable to ask him different questions and express their opinions. His etiquette and manners are notable with his every move and word, he is a man with style.

Special thank you's to Mr. Bobby Capco and Mr. Richard Vargas.
